I would like to take a moment to share a quick little post made by my husband, Matt. You can read what he wrote below. Happy Sunday!
"In July of 2017, my wife and I set out to adopt a corgi. No less than two weeks into our hunt we laid our eyes on a little, red corgi pup from the country. We made a couple hour drive to the farm in which he had been born only to find out he was even cuter than we anticipated. Granted, all corgis are good lookin' but this puppy was, as my wife has said, "a 10/10 on the cuteness scale". Shortly after getting him, we took him on his first trip to Home Depot to see how he would react to loud noises and and an abundance of strangers. Guys, he did so well! He was running up to little old ladies and sniffing all of the different plants and appliances like he had been socialized for years. Seriously, this dude is the most vibrant yet awkward, intelligent yet naive, hysterical yet emotional dog I have ever had. Even with his unpredictability, one thing is always certain. That is, he is a daddy's boy. My wife, Hanna, is dear to his heart but Cap is attached to me in an entirely different way. It's as if he knows I've dreamed of owning a corgi for years. Not only that but when I leave the house and Hanna is still home, he refuses to sleep, eat, or do anything short of pacing and sighing. But when Hanna leaves the house, it seems like he simply considers it's "guy time" and expects me to take him on a new adventure. We have had many great adventures over the past year and a half. From meeting random people in the streets of downtown Dallas to his first vacation to Mississippi, he is definitely an adventure driven dog. I think it goes without saying that you will hear more about these adventures in the future. But until then, enjoy some photos of Cap The Corgi."
